SPECIALIST CLEANING SYSTEM, QUALIFIED SCOPE

Drone cleaning for solar panels and wind-energy assets

We prepare cleaning missions around the exact module or blade, its manufacturer instructions, the contamination, water supply and operating environment. Availability is confirmed only after selecting a suitable specialist system or verified partner and completing the technical and regulatory review.

CLEANING SYSTEMS, MARKET COMPARISON

Drones designed for solar-panel and wind-asset cleaning

These platforms have publicly documented spraying systems. They are not interchangeable. Selection depends on the surface, height, required method, documents for the exact configuration and the legal basis for the operation.

Selected after audit

These are examples of solutions available on the market, not a statement that Aeronautiq owns them. The exact model, availability and delivery method are confirmed in an individual proposal, including partner delivery where appropriate.

How the system is selected for a project

  1. 01

    Asset and OEM manual

We identify the panel or turbine manufacturer and model, coating, contamination and warranty requirements.

  2. 02

    Method and ground support

We define water, temperature, surface pressure, nozzle, distance, hose or tank, pump, filtration and wastewater handling.

  3. 03

    Platform and authorisation

We review mass, class and configuration documents, airspace, the specific-category operating basis and required approvals.

  4. 04

    Test and acceptance

Before full execution, we agree a test area, before-and-after record and a measurable completion criterion.

OEM + UAS

The asset manual sets the limits, not the drone's maximum output

A cleaning rig's available pressure is not automatically suitable for a module or blade. The exact OEM manual, surface condition and approved method control the operation.

Photovoltaic modules

LONGi states, among other conditions, a 0.7 MPa surface-pressure limit, no more than 10°C difference between water and module, and no abrasive tools. Other manufacturers or models may set different limits.

LONGi maintenance manual

Wind-turbine blades

The method, pressure, cleaning medium and turbine position must be approved for the exact blade type. Public Vestas material confirms blade services but does not publish one cleaning recipe for every model.

Aviation basis

An operation that releases liquid does not fit the open category. It needs an appropriate specific-category basis and the conditions and mitigations required for the exact operation.

05, FAQ

Drone cleaning for PV & wind

01Which drones can wash solar panels?+

Purpose-built systems include platforms such as DRONE VOLT Hercules 20 Spray or High-Dra, JIUSI D15R, KTV Working Drone systems and Lucid Sherpa. Their suitability in Europe depends on the exact configuration, conformity documents, operating approval and the panel manufacturer's cleaning limits.

02Can a drone wash wind-turbine blades?+

Specialist systems are marketed for wind-energy infrastructure, but a project proceeds only with the asset owner's approval, an OEM-compatible method, an agreed shutdown and safety plan, wastewater controls and the required UAS authorisation.

03Will Matrice 4T or Air 3S be used for washing?+

No. They are inspection and imaging platforms, not approved washing drones. They can document condition before and after cleaning. A separate purpose-built cleaning platform is selected for the washing operation.

04Can one pressure setting be used on every panel?+

No. Manufacturers publish different limits for water quality, temperature, pressure, tools and chemistry. We verify the exact module documentation and warranty conditions before proposing the method.
